About Jewish Primary Day School

To provide an extraordinary education for its students, the Jewish Primary Day School in the center of the nation’s capital combines academic excellence, Jewish tradition, strong values, and a sense of community.  This school takes a well-rounded approach to school life and all other activities.

How They Are Different

Jewish Primary Day School is a small school on purpose.  Each child is accounted for and the faculty takes time to notice and cater to every student’s deficiencies and natural abilities.  The curriculum is flexible through the method of ‘adaptive programming’.  The school nurtures children’s spiritual, emotional, and academic development.

There is an enthusiasm for both traditional Jewish values and modern teaching styles.  The Jewish Primary Day School places an emphasis on the responsibility to apply one’s talents and knowledge to heal the world (tikkun olam).  They seek to enhance the Jewish practices and outlooks of the families while creating a thirst for learning in their students.  At Jewish Primary Day School, every child will be encouraged and nurtured to succeed.
